Senior Portrait at Boxwood winery in Middleburg VA

Senior Portrait of Foxcroft High School Student Erica at an ironwork gate at Boxwood winery in Middleburg, Virginia. Cloudy skies overhead diffuse the natural sunlight, with added fill flash using a Canon 600ex-rt flash with Stofen Diffuser. Boxwood winery started as a horse farm, one of the first ones in Middleburg, which has since become known as horse country and boasting many horse farms in the area and is one of the wealthiest counties in Virginia. Boxwood is now a 16 acre winery on rolling green hills with ponds, outbuildings and stonework, as well as ironwork gates such as the one Erica is standing at, and a beautiful red barn. It also has a small pond with a small rowboat, as well as a reflecting pool surrounding by beautiful stonework, and weeping willow trees.  It is also home to The Salamander Resort owned by Sheila C.
